Project: Mobile Hospitals
Benue State, known as the Food Basket of the Nation, is blessed with hardworking rural farmers. Yet, many of these communities have little to no access to basic healthcare. Farmers often travel long distances before reaching the nearest hospital—sometimes too late to save lives.
The Healthy Benue Project will fund community health buses (mobile hospitals) that bring healthcare directly to the farms and villages. Each bus will be equipped for emergency care, maternal health, vaccinations, and primary treatment.
Timeline:
12 months (Project implementation and rollout across rural communities).
Goal:
₦80,000,000 (₦80m)
Milestone Targets:
-
₦60m – Deploy the first mobile hospital.
-
₦65m – Add critical equipment and expand reach.
-
₦70m – Deploy second bus for wider coverage.
-
₦75m – Improve training for healthcare volunteers.
-
₦80m – Full rollout and sustainability plan.
