🚑 Providing Floating Ambulance Boats for Riverine Communities

About the Campaign

Bayelsa is blessed with vast riverine areas, but this also means that many communities face serious challenges accessing emergency healthcare. In critical situations, the difference between life and death often depends on how quickly patients can reach a hospital.

The Bayelsa Health Drive seeks to solve this by providing floating ambulance boats equipped with basic emergency facilities. These boats will drastically reduce response time, ensuring that pregnant women, accident victims, and critically ill patients get the urgent medical care they need.

This project is more than just healthcare—it is about saving lives, restoring hope, and ensuring no one is left behind simply because they live along the creeks.

Project Details

  • Nature of Project: Procurement and deployment of floating ambulance boats.

  • Location: Riverine communities across Bayelsa State.

  • Timeline: 10 months (procurement, training, and launch).
